100+ year old, poorly-maintained row house. There is no professional management company here, you'll be dealing directly with the family. The younger guy, Irving, is great. But the older woman, Evelyn, is a nightmare to deal with. She is an aspiring slumlord, and would succeed in that effort if not for Irving doing his best to properly solve building issues. If Evelyn had her way, she'd spend $0.00 annually to maintain the building. We could not wait to get out of there, and is one of the reasons we were so motivated to buy our own place — to no longer be at the mercy of people who care so little about their property and their tenants.
