β€œ100+ year old, poorly-maintained row house. There is no professional management company here, you'll be dealing directly with the family. The younger guy, Irving, is great. But the older woman, Evelyn, is a nightmare to deal with. She is an aspiring slumlord, and would succeed in that effort if not for Irving doing his best to properly solve building issues. If Evelyn had her way, she'd spend $0.00 annually to maintain the building. We could not wait to get out of there, and is one of the reasons we were so motivated to buy our own place β€”Β to no longer be at the mercy of people who care so little about their property and their tenants.”

β€œDecent building being ruined by poor maintenance and a property manager who could not care less about one-off issues nor ongoing systematic issues. Property management will lie, delay, stall, make excuses, and eventually ignore you as you report issues and then follow up about resolution. Avoid at all costs.”

β€œGreat apartment overall. Management is very quick with responding and getting to your apartment to fix any problems. There are consistent issues with the elevators and the garage doors, but other than that, great complex.”

β€œThe building is great, in a very nice location right next to Shop Rite. The gym and lounge are great while the other amenities are only good. Outdoor grills could be maintained better but do work & pool is good but limited in terms of seating, residents treat it like a resort dropping their towels off to hold a seat. Elevator does break down occasionally and package system has improved with new package rooms. Overall very nice building & enjoyed living here!”

β€œOverall, you can’t beat the location and water views of 333 river. You’re a quick walk to the path, and a 2-3 min walk to Washington st along with 3 dog parks. We wake up to an amazing water view every day. Cons include - The AC is terrible and hikes up your electric bill (just 2 window units not central), the walls can be thin with side neighbors (we almost never hear upstairs though), and management/maintenance can be rude and unreliable. Just this August, management locked every resident in the South courtyard out of their balconies for the next several months (literally the best time of the year) with a 2 day warning to conduct exterior work to the building. The way it was handled and the lack of heads up was infuriating. Not to mention, balconies are $400 more roughly and they are refusing to give us more than $100 back for the months the balconies are closed. That has really tainted my opinion of this building. To end on a positive note, most residents are absolutely lovely (lots of dogs, families, couples) and Isaac at the front desk is so incredibly helpful.”

β€œ5th floor walk up but totally worth it. Unreal amount of natural light with 2 skylights and windows on both ends. Quiet on the 5th floor and free laundry in building”

β€œDefinitely not the best location. Lots of people hanging outside at night and loud at all hours. This was the rear unit so separate entrance and no one above or below which was a huge plus. Location is meh.”

β€œThis place was the most disgusting apartment i have ever lived in. Basically a glorified frat house. We had a crazy rat/mouse problem and the management company basically told us it’s our problem to deal with and they wouldnt help at all. We hit a point where we were catching 2 mice a day for multiple months. It is above farside tavern so year round all you hear is the bar until 2 am even over a loud window AC unit. First time trying to use the oven after move in we had a crazy fire because the tenants before us left oven mitts in the broiler and it took them almost our whole lease to get a new working oven and take out the burnt old one. Things were always breaking/ hanging by a thread, our bathroom door came off the hinges 3 separate times from rotting wood so there were periods where we had to use the bathroom with the door open and it was a 3 bed 1 bath. When it was a couple months before the end of our lease we tried to stay because it was cheap and they told us we were not allowed to renew our lease with no explanation and that we had to be moved out by 4pm and no where in our lease did it state that… so we legally had the apartment until 11:59pm and they kept threatening through email to the point where i had to get legal involved. Maintenance was an ex con who lived an hour away and could only come at 11 pm on the weekdays and would stay for hoursss”

β€œGood management and great price for the area! It is a really old building, living area is pretty small/ skinny but overall good bedroom size.”
