Terms of Service

RentReview is a community platform for honest, anonymous, unit-level apartment reviews, starting in Hoboken, NJ. We don't sell apartments, we don't represent landlords, and we don't accept paid placement on rankings.

You must have actually lived in the unit you review. Reviews from non-residents, landlords, brokers, or third parties promoting their interests are not allowed and will be removed.

Share your real experience. Don't post other people's personal information (full names, contact info, etc.), threats, harassment, slurs, or claims you can't back up. Don't post content that violates someone else's intellectual property.

Your review is linked to a one-way HMAC hash of your account id, never to your name, email, or any identifier we could reverse. See How it works for full detail.

We may remove reviews that violate these terms. If you see something that shouldn't be here, hit ⚐ Report on the review and a moderator will look at it. Repeated abuse can lead to your account losing posting privileges.

Reviews are individual opinions, not statements of fact by RentReview. We don't guarantee accuracy or completeness. Make your own judgment before signing a lease.
